Our Doctors

Dr. Chelsea Randall

Dr. Melissa Berthiaume
I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, and went to New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, where I obtained my BS in Animal Science in 2003. I attended veterinary school at Colorado State University and graduated in 2007. I practiced for several years in New Mexico, but have been in Arizona since the summer of 2011, and I love living out here in the desert heat!
A few of my special interests in veterinary medicine include surgery (orthopedic surgery is something I particularly enjoy), dentistry, and preventative care. I also enjoy building lasting relationships with pets and their families—starting with that first visit and as they go through life. Watching the animals grow and bond with their families, and being here to help when illness or injuries arise are what make my job so rewarding!
Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy anything that involves spending time with my family. I also love to have outdoor fun, especially barbeques, swimming, and camping. At home I have 2 young human kiddos, and 2 fur kids (2 pooches - a sweet pitbull and a silly cane corso).

Dr. Mary Combs
I was born and raised in Dayton, OH where I studied biology at the University of Dayton. I continued my education and graduated from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. Even though I am a homebody and midwesterner at heart, the warm weather, outdoor activities, and desire for a new adventure drew me out of Ohio and here to Arizona.
My professional interests are in canine behavior and surgery. I am also passionate about providing excellent preventative care and education in the general practice setting. My favorite part about veterinary medicine is building relationships and helping pets live the highest quality lives possible with their families.
At home, I have two mixed-breed dogs named Bowen and Dwight, and my husband Stephen and I have been married since 2018. When I am not at work, I love to read, play tennis and golf, spend time with my family and friends, and try new restaurants.

Dr. Marty Glanzberg
I grew up in Tucson as an avid animal lover. My work at a molecular biology lab spurred interest in science, and my love of animals made it an easy choice to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I now live in Peoria with my two rescued dogs, Laphonda the Golden Retriever and Pearl the Labrador Retriever.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in 2000. I earned my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2004 and joined the team at Arrowhead Ranch shortly after. My professional interests include allergies, cardiology, and dentistry.

Dr. Kerry Tarr
I grew up in a small town in rural Ohio. My love of animals began at an early age as I spent countless hours at my father’s veterinary practice and helping on the family farm. I now live in Phoenix with my husband John, two daughters (Sophie and Lucy), and two miniature Australian Shepherds (Bumpers and Dottie).
I received my Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in 2004, my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 2009, and joined the Arrowhead Ranch team shortly after. My professional interests include dentistry, soft tissue, orthopedic surgery, and arthritis management.

Dr. Lindsey O'Connell
I was born and raised here in Glendale, Arizona. Veterinary medicine has been an excellent way for me to blend my early love of animals with scientific curiosity.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2013, and I earned my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2018. I joined the Arrowhead Ranch team in 2018 upon returning to Glendale, where I currently live with my three cats Phoebe, Gretchen, and Jack. My professional interests include behavior, preventative care, and feline medicine.

Dr. Chelsea Randall
I grew up in Naperville, Illinois. My experience working in a genetics lab, as well as a wildlife clinic, sparked my love of veterinary medicine. I now live in Phoenix with my husband Dennis, daughter Ava, and two Siberian Huskies (Crowley and Mariska).
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in 2014 and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in 2018. I joined the team at Arrowhead Ranch in 2018. My professional interests include preventative medicine, neurology, surgery, and exotics.
